The 2010 party
On Saturday it rained and rained, and on Sunday the sun shone. Somebody must be doing something right!
What a great party. I was so pleased to see so many smiling faces (and so many hands being put into so many pockets).
With more money promised, we are already near to the magical £3,000 barrier.
Our stage boasted a fantastic list of musicians; thanks to Steve and David for all their work.
There are a number of things we can do differently next time and I'll be looking at them over the coming months. In the meantime it just remains for me to say thank you to everybody involved, and to ask everybody to gird their loins for next year. My first thoughts are to invite back all the organisers, helpers, musicians, performers, stallholders etc and ask them to do the same again.
