Why are we here?
This site is here to promote The Folly @ The Folly (the successor to The Castle Street Party), and to raise much needed funds for The National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS).
Sunday 14 August 2011 saw the third party on The Folly. The weather was brilliant, the island and the river looked a picture, loads of people came, and we raised over £3,500! Click on the tab to see a review of the day.
This year's party will be on Sunday 15 July 2012, from 12 noon onwards (put it in your diary and tell everybody you know!!). We promise another family event full of music, entertainment, competitions, food and drink, and the opportunity to raise money for charity.
See how Folly Island residents can get involved by decorating their house. Next year's theme, suggested by island residents, is (appropriately for 2012) FOLLYMPICS, anything sport related. Let your imagination run wild!
